Today, CCLP submitted comments to the Department of Homeland Security rejecting the Trump Administration’s proposal to roll back long-standing protections for immigrant children.
The proposed rule changes to what is known as the Flores Settlement would allow the government to indefinitely detain immigrant children, strip kids of existing legal protections and lower standards of care in immigration jails.
